Bertrand Engerer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Ellis went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute, Kyle Thake fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 14 minutes into the match, Edward Ellis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertrand Engerer. Balzan Rainbows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Ellis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Bertrand Engerer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Thake's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Edward Ellis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Floriana Celtics's Alex Testaferrata Viani got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edward Ellis struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Bertrand Engerer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Thake in the 26th minute of play forced Balzan Rainbows's goalkeeper Bertrand Engerer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertrand Engerer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 28th minute of the match. Claudio Bailey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Thake in the 30th minute of play forced Balzan Rainbows's goalkeeper Bertrand Engerer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balzan Rainbows's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Edward Ellis scored to the left of an out of position Bertrand Engerer, making the score, 5-0. Edward Ellis scored 6-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertrand Engerer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balzan Rainbows's goalkeeper Bertrand Engerer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Edward Ellis made a precise shot to the right of Bertrand Engerer. Balzan Rainbows's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Floriana Celtics were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Balzan Rainbows's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godwin Montesin took the corner. Kyle Thake struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Bertrand Engerer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Edward Ellis notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Balzan Rainbows's Bertrand Engerer. Bertrand Engerer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 55 minutes into the game, Kyle Thake cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Bertrand Engerer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bertrand Engerer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Ellis's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Bertrand Engerer came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Floriana Celtics's Kyle Thake. But to his dismay, Kyle Thake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Floriana Celtics's Miguel Piscopo was substituted for Edward Ellis. Floriana Celtics's Matt Sciortino was substituted for Godwin Montesin. 65 minutes into the match, Balzan Rainbows's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Thake came free, but Bertrand Engerer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Kyle Thake made a precise shot to the right of Bertrand Engerer. Balzan Rainbows's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. In the 70th minute, Kyle Thake ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertrand Engerer was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. The audience was convinced that Kyle Thake's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertrand Engerer was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Kyle Thake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bertrand Engerer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertrand Engerer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Thake, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Cedric Axisa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertrand Engerer. Balzan Rainbows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cedric Axisa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. 85 minutes into the match, Balzan Rainbows's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Thake came free, but Bertrand Engerer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Piscopo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bertrand Engerer having to make a save. Kyle Thake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bertrand Engerer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Miguel Piscopo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertrand Engerer. Balzan Rainbows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Piscopo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0.
