Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tyrone Tabone kicked off to start the match. Bertrand Engerer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Schembri Zerafa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Balzan Rainbows's Bertrand Engerer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Hamilton in the 9th minute of play. If Tyrone Tabone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Balzan Rainbows's zone, Botond Petres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertrand Engerer came out of the goal and Botond Petres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruhut Tutuarima took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertrand Engerer. Bertrand Engerer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bertrand Engerer came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Maleth F.C.'s Tyrone Tabone. But to his dismay, Tyrone Tabone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 29 minutes into the game, Maleth F.C.'s Botond Petres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertrand Engerer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Jason Schembri Zerafa took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertrand Engerer. Bertrand Engerer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. If Jason Schembri Zerafa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tyrone Tabone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bertrand Engerer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Jeremy Ciliberti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balzan Rainbows and the Maleth F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Balzan Rainbows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremy Ciliberti to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Andrea Valletta made the kick off in the second half. Tyrone Tabone in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bertrand Engerer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bertrand Engerer came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Maleth F.C.'s Nikolai De Marco. But to his dismay, Nikolai De Marco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Jason Schembri Zerafa might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertrand Engerer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jason Schembri Zerafa ran back to his position shaking his head. Tyrone Tabone succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balzan Rainbows's goalkeeper Bertrand Engerer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Jason Schembri Zerafa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maleth F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Schembri Zerafa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertrand Engerer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Balzan Rainbows defense, Tyrone Tabone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertrand Engerer. The Balzan Rainbows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertrand Engerer should have stopped the shot. Anton Hyzler kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jason Schembri Zerafa, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fabrizio Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bertrand Engerer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balzan Rainbows's Jeremy Ciliberti got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Jeremy Ciliberti off the ground. Jeremy Ciliberti kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tyrone Tabone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bertrand Engerer made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Botond Petres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bertrand Engerer. The goal made the score 0-11. In the 93rd minute, Tyrone Tabone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertrand Engerer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. When the final whistle sounded Maleth F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Balzan Rainbows.
