Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Andrea Valletta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Kenneth Mugliett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bertrand Engerer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Cesareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Salerno scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertrand Engerer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenneth Mugliett in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertrand Engerer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Kenneth Mugliett sped through Balzan Rainbows's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bertrand Engerer. 20 minutes into the game, Calderon Stars's Kenneth Mugliett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertrand Engerer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The audience was convinced that Kenneth Mugliett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertrand Engerer was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Calderon Stars's Tommy Salerno got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenneth Mugliett took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertrand Engerer. Bertrand Engerer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Balzan Rainbows's zone, Richard Cesareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertrand Engerer came out of the goal and Richard Cesareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Kenneth Mugliett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertrand Engerer was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When Kenneth Mugliett came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Calderon Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Mugliett couldn't finish the play. After 40th play minutes Kenneth Mugliett shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Bertrand Engerer and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Balzan Rainbows's Jeremy Ciliberti got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Bertrand Engerer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Mugliett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Cumhur Onsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertrand Engerer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kenneth Mugliett to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Calderon Stars's Kenneth Mugliett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A beautiful save bye Balzan Rainbows's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Balzan Rainbows's zone, Cumhur Onsal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertrand Engerer came out of the goal and Cumhur Onsal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cumhur Onsal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bertrand Engerer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Bertrand Engerer managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Calderon Stars's Kenneth Mugliett fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tommy Salerno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neville Degiorgio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neville Degiorgio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Neville Degiorgio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth Mugliett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bertrand Engerer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Mugliett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertrand Engerer having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenneth Mugliett in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bertrand Engerer saved Balzan Rainbows from getting behind. Kenneth Mugliett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 89th minute of the match Neville Degiorgio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Neville Degiorgio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Neville Degiorgio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Kenneth Mugliett fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 94th minute, Tommy Salerno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kenneth Mugliett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
