The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Green Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Yannick von Bassenheim. Otto Borchard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lars Albrecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Claude Eberhardt, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Jean-Claude Eberhardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Gottschalk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lars Albrecht made a huge save.
