Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Georg Baumgärtner made the kick off which started today's match. Pierre Auerswald took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Austin Cotterill. Austin Cotterill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Terry Hannawald fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leytonstone's protests and gave Terry Hannawald a yellow card for diving instead. Terry Hannawald hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Pierre Auerswald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Cotterill having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Georg Baumgärtner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leytonstone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Baumgärtner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marden City's Austin Cotterill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Baumgärtner in the 35th minute of play. Milo Fux was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but CJ Currie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Hodgson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Georg Baumgärtner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Baumgärtner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Austin Cotterill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Marden City's goalkeeper Austin Cotterill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre Auerswald. Georg Baumgärtner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Auerswald in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Austin Cotterill, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. CJ Currie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Georg Baumgärtner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Austin Cotterill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leytonstone's Milo Fux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Hodgson in the 73rd minute of play. Pierre Auerswald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Austin Cotterill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Georg Baumgärtner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Austin Cotterill was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If CJ Currie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre Auerswald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Austin Cotterill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Austin Cotterill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre Auerswald in the 92nd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
