Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tim Revell made the kick off which started today's match. Markus Ganzfried recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 minutes of play, Woking's Armin Favre made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnny Bentley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johnny Bentley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markus Ganzfried went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Stefan Kiefer kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Woking's Alwin Dümmler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johnny Bentley came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Woking reached it. Markus Ganzfried received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Johnny Bentley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnny Bentley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armin Favre's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Armin Favre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Bentley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Ganzfried in the 43rd minute of play. Tim Revell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Auf der Maur having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Woking's goalkeeper Lars Auf der Maur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Wardell. If Abraham Wardell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Armin Favre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johnny Bentley, 0-3. Lars Auf der Maur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Revell, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute of the game, Lee Mumford landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 56 minutes, Henry Hilgendorf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woking and the Partington AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Partington AFC's zone, Armin Favre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Bentley came out of the goal and Armin Favre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mike Carragher during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Mike Carragher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnny Bentley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Ganzfried in the 67th minute. Armin Favre scored 0-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Bentley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the game, David Beauchêne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woking's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Partington AFC the free kick. In the 71st minute, David Beauchêne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Wardell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, Woking was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Hilgendorf to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Armin Favre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woking's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Favre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Bentley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vince Abbey charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vince Abbey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, one of Partington AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Partington AFC. Johnny Bentley went to the wrong direction when Otto Schumann was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Armin Favre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Bentley having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Markus Ganzfried managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woking's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Ganzfried was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Bentley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Woking could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Partington AFC throughout the match.
