In the 35th match minute, Wem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Gebhard to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopold Schäpper in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quintinus Greber saved Kings Lynn from getting behind. Quintinus Greber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopold Schäpper in the 45th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leopold Schäpper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quintinus Greber was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Leopold Schäpper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Quintinus Greber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kings Lynn's zone, Lutz Schäpper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quintinus Greber came out of the goal and Lutz Schäpper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lutz Schäpper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintinus Greber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Leopold Schäpper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Caduff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintinus Greber having to interfere. Chants of Kings Lynn echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Wem had held the ball for most of the match.
