When Pio Ott got free in front of the goal in the 9th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Quintinus Greber was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Pio Ott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintinus Greber having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Pio Ott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quintinus Greber. Kings Lynn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pio Ott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Stanislaus Sanchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Spalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislaus Sanchen in the 23rd minute. Kings Lynn's Stanislaus Sanchen got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Stanislaus Sanchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Spalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pio Ott struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Quintinus Greber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Next Gen FC. In the 35thth minute of the game Pio Ott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kings Lynn's Quintinus Greber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kings Lynn's Quintinus Greber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pio Ott in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislaus Sanchen got free with Niklas Spalt in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the game, Eugene Schürmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kings Lynn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Next Gen FC the free kick. Quintinus Greber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pio Ott in the 43rd minute of play. Pio Ott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintinus Greber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pio Ott in the 47th minute of play forced Kings Lynn's goalkeeper Quintinus Greber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Pio Ott got free with Quintinus Greber in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stjepan Gruber was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Next Gen FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Eugene Schürmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Eugene Schürmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Spalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quintinus Greber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pio Ott, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Kings Lynn's Quintinus Greber got control of the ball when Pio Ott tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Kings Lynn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Next Gen FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
