Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Eugene Schürmann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Kings Lynn's zone, Etienne Risch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quintinus Greber came out of the goal and Etienne Risch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Etienne Risch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kings Lynn's Quintinus Greber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugene Schürmann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andreas Mydla came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugene Schürmann slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Glossop's Etienne Risch got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Glossop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jürgen Rahel to maneuver through the defense. Stanislaus Sanchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Andreas Mydla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Eugene Schürmann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andreas Mydla. The goal made the score 2-0. Stanislaus Sanchen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Andreas Mydla made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Glossop's Wendelin Hoch got a free kick in the 28th minute. Karlheinz Lenherr struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Quintinus Greber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glossop. Stanislaus Sanchen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Kings Lynn's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugene Schürmann in the 39th minute of play forced Glossop's goalkeeper Andreas Mydla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislaus Sanchen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Andreas Mydla made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Etienne Risch to make the kick off. Andreas Mydla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randy Wismer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislaus Sanchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th of the match, Etienne Risch tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Quintinus Greber got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugene Schürmann in the 72nd minute of play forced Glossop's goalkeeper Andreas Mydla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Mydla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaus Sanchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute, Joaquin Hecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanislaus Sanchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eugene Schürmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Mydla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugene Schürmann in the 94th minute of play. Kings Lynn's Eugene Schürmann got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kings Lynn had played much better football throughout.
