Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dominique Eugster started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Newton Abbot getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Renato Wollstadt hit a great ball. Joe Roth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Thorsten Thierstein when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jerome Summermatter hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Francis Bütler in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ballspielverein Vaduz 21's Alfons Berger. Joe Roth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Thorsten Thierstein when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 26 minutes, Alfons Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballspielverein Vaduz 21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thorsten Thierstein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sam Lustenberger went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Thorsten Piperno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Ballspielverein Vaduz 21's Dominique Eugster in action when he in the 37th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 39 minutes into the match, Thorsten Piperno notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Newton Abbot's Liborius Mitter. Liborius Mitter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sam Lustenberger was the one to do the kick off. Thorsten Thierstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Lustenberger in the 53rd minute of the match. Joe Roth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Thorsten Thierstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Sam Lustenberger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newton Abbot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ballspielverein Vaduz 21's attentive Alfons Berger managed to snatch the ball when Francis Bütler made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Newton Abbot's Jerome Summermatter got a free kick in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ballspielverein Vaduz 21's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Roth came free, but Thorsten Thierstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Wollstadt got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Renato Wollstadt kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Dominique Eugster struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Liborius Mitter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballspielverein Vaduz 21. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Roth in the 79th minute of play forced Ballspielverein Vaduz 21's goalkeeper Thorsten Thierstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Summermatter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Yildiz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Liborius Mitter right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Roth in the 94th minute of play forced Ballspielverein Vaduz 21's goalkeeper Thorsten Thierstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam Lustenberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Newton Abbot were victorious despite being under pressure from Ballspielverein Vaduz 21 for much of the match.
