FC Vaduz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noah Amadeo Fehr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jerome Summermatter fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newton Abbot's protests and gave Jerome Summermatter a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noah Amadeo Fehr in the 70th minute of play forced Newton Abbot's goalkeeper Liborius Mitter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes, FC Vaduz's Rinaldo Anthamatten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Liborius Mitter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Vaduz reached it. Liborius Mitter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noah Amadeo Fehr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Wollstadt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. FC Vaduz's Ronny Eberle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FC Vaduz from getting a goal against them. Liborius Mitter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noah Amadeo Fehr in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Vaduz's zone, Joe Roth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Eberle came out of the goal and Joe Roth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sam Lustenberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newton Abbot's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
