Pascal Martini hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Alfred Riesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Sven in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Manuel Biedermann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Masescha and the Southampton AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Southampton AFC's Christof Kühne in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Masescha's goalie prevented a goal. When Christof Kühne came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Southampton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christof Kühne couldn't finish the play. 白雄桑 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christof Kühne's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Marc Burali hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Franz Hirsch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Alfred Riesen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfred Riesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Hirsch in the 39th minute of the match. Marc Burali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Masescha's goal looked a bit too open when Christof Kühne came free, but 白雄桑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Hirsch in the 53rd minute of play forced Southampton AFC's goalkeeper Alfred Riesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Manuel Biedermann came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Masescha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Biedermann couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Masescha's goal looked a bit too open when Christof Kühne came free, but 白雄桑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Franz Hirsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Masescha's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Hirsch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Riesen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Benat Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Masescha's protests and gave Benat Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Masescha getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Benat Figueroa hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Damian Sele shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 白雄桑 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matthias Andersen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 白雄桑 having to interfere. Christof Kühne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but 白雄桑 made a huge save. A collision led to Masescha getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Franz Hirsch hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Franz Hirsch made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Riesen. Southampton AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 83 played minutes Masescha got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Meierhofer. 85 minutes into the match, Franz Hirsch notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Southampton AFC's Alfred Riesen. Alfred Riesen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Franz Hirsch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Riesen was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Andreas Meierhofer took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Riesen. Alfred Riesen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Benat Figueroa got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 97th minute, Benat Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
