Bendern's Damian Hosu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benno Elkuch in the 10th minute of play. If Arman Ilımlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Biedermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Ilımlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Patric Wohlwend charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patric Wohlwend the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jürgen Jauch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anton Biedermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Ilımlı in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Grüne Kobolde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Grüne Kobolde's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Ilımlı came free, but Anton Biedermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Grüne Kobolde got a freekick which was hit by Hans Memeti. Anton Biedermann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radoslaw Golota went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Anton Biedermann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arman Ilımlı showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 64 minute of play. If Radoslaw Golota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bendern's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grüne Kobolde the free kick. 87 minutes into the game, one of Bendern:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Grüne Kobolde. Jürgen Jauch stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Damian Hosu. 2-4. Radoslaw Golota's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Biedermann firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Bendern players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
