Scuole Cristiane CalcioVC's Fabiano Granato quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 10 minutes, Ciro De Matteis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scuole Cristiane CalcioVC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro De Matteis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Cucci charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Cucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Scuole Cristiane CalcioVC booed when Rosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Cucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alfredo Cucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrigo Troiani hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Rosa FC's Cristoforo De Lellis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Rosa FC from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Scuole Cristiane CalcioVC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Cucci came free, but Angelo Lazzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cristoforo De Lellis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rosa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristoforo De Lellis should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Rosa FC's Alfredo Cucci got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Ciro De Matteis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro De Matteis made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Ciro De Matteis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo De Lellis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Angelo Lazzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Dionisi in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ciro De Matteis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scuole Cristiane CalcioVC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro De Matteis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo De Lellis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Scuole Cristiane CalcioVC's Carlo Salomone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo De Lellis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo De Lellis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro De Matteis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro De Matteis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo De Lellis having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Ciro De Matteis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th match minute, Rosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Paolini to maneuver through the defense. Ciro De Matteis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
