Eugenio Dionisi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesare Paolini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Eugenio Feliziani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rosa FC's Eugenio Dionisi got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Dionisi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Feliziani having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Dionisi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Feliziani was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Eugenio Dionisi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenio Feliziani came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugenio Dionisi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Eugenio Dionisi made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Feliziani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Dionisi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Rago got free with Cristoforo De Lellis in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Dionisi in the 64th minute of play forced Marsignano's goalkeeper Eugenio Feliziani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Dario Di Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Marsignano's Felice Granata ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristoforo De Lellis. Cristoforo De Lellis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Eugenio Dionisi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Dionisi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88thth minute of the game Cesare Paolini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marsignano's Eugenio Feliziani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marsignano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
