After a defensive mix-up in Brescia's zone, Anselmo Colucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Danza came out of the goal and Anselmo Colucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosimo Egger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Vanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Giannantonio having to interfere. Frittole's Edoardo Giannantonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Egger in the 19th minute of play. After 25 played minutes, Frittole's Carlo Eboli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Danza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Frittole reached it. Frittole's Anselmo Colucci got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Arrigo Salerno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Flavio Danza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Frittole's goalkeeper Edoardo Giannantonio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristoforo Martelli. When Brescia's Cosimo Egger in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frittole's goalie prevented a goal. Flavio Danza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arrigo Salerno's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Colucci in the 38th minute of play forced Brescia's goalkeeper Flavio Danza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Colucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brescia's goalkeeper Flavio Danza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute Anselmo Colucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Danza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Granato kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Arrigo Salerno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Danza having to interfere. When Cristoforo Martelli came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Brescia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Martelli couldn't finish the play. Cosimo Egger scored 1-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edoardo Giannantonio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anselmo Colucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Flavio Danza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Arrigo Salerno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Danza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Cosimo Egger made a precise shot to the right of Edoardo Giannantonio. Frittole's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Ermanno Di Bernardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrigo Salerno got free with Flavio Danza in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute Cristoforo Martelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Giannantonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brescia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
