After having played for 14 minutes, Fulvio Basilico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Damiano Filippini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Gava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute of the match, Alexander Di Marco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciccio Pelusi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 53 minutes into the game, Alexander Di Marco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciccio Pelusi. Alexander Di Marco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Ermanno Alfani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Basilico in the 60th minute of play forced Contegnaga's goalkeeper Damiano Filippini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes Contegnaga got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Balzani. Contegnaga's Alexander Di Marco got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulvio Basilico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Filippini having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Fulvio Basilico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Contegnaga's Damiano Filippini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciccio Pelusi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Di Marco in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ponte Motta AFC's Armando Reggianini got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ermanno Alfani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ciccio Pelusi made a huge save. Alexander Di Marco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ciccio Pelusi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Contegnaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Di Fonzo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Basilico in the 91st minute of play forced Contegnaga's goalkeeper Damiano Filippini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ermanno Alfani came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Contegnaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Alfani couldn't finish the play. 98 minutes into the game, Ponte Motta AFC's Fulvio Basilico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Filippini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
