Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lipomo AFC's Demetrio Mazzocco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Emilio Scibilia rounded Lipomo AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 12 played minutes Varese got a freekick which was hit by Armin Ruggeri. Florian Alati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Ciaccia having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Varese's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Corleone came free, but Emanuele Ciaccia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Lipomo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Mazzocco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Alati in the 23rd minute of play forced Varese's goalkeeper Emanuele Ciaccia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Emilio Scibilia came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Varese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Scibilia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Scibilia in the 27th minute of play forced Lipomo AFC's goalkeeper Bruno Antonangeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Lipomo AFC's Demetrio Mazzocco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuele Ciaccia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lipomo AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Davide Staniscia in the 34th minute. Lipomo AFC's Davide Staniscia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emanuele Ciaccia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, Varese's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Mazzocco came free, but Emanuele Ciaccia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Mazzocco scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuele Ciaccia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emilio Scibilia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrizio Combi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Bruno Antonangeli made a huge save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Pietrangelo in the 53rd minute of play forced Lipomo AFC's goalkeeper Bruno Antonangeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Varese's goalkeeper Emanuele Ciaccia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Alati. Emanuele Ciaccia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Mazzocco, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Emilio Scibilia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthony Pietrangelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bruno Antonangeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Varese's Emilio Scibilia got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Combi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lipomo AFC the free kick. The supporters of Lipomo AFC booed when Varese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Combi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Varese's Fabrizio Combi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demetrio Mazzocco in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuele Ciaccia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Florian Alati came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Lipomo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Alati couldn't finish the play. If Demetrio Mazzocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88thth minute of the game Demetrio Mazzocco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varese's Emanuele Ciaccia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Pietrangelo in the 89th minute of play forced Lipomo AFC's goalkeeper Bruno Antonangeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Antonangeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Scibilia in the 91st minute of the match. Bruno Antonangeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Pietrangelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bruno Corleone kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. A well done corner resulted in Anthony Pietrangelo drilling the ball in to score 2-3 behind Lipomo AFC's goalkeeper. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lipomo AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
