Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dino Proietto kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Dino Proietto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fregene's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Proietto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosimo Selvi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Fregene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Margoni to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Raffa, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 11th minute, Dino Proietto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Punta charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Punta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Augusto Punta hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Concetto Di Martino came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Fregene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Di Martino couldn't finish the play. Cosimo Selvi made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Concetto Di Martino sent off a good shot on target. Concetto Di Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Dino Proietto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cosimo Selvi, passed just outside the right post. If Alberigo Martinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Ciccio Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Vasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciccio Vasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvise Chitarroni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Ettore Guadagnoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Aurelio Raffa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvise Chitarroni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Concetto Di Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cosimo Selvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fregene's Concetto Di Martino in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Masio's goalie prevented a goal. Masio's Cosimo Selvi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Di Martino in the 68th minute of play. Ciccio Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Fregene's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Martinelli came free, but Alvise Chitarroni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvise Chitarroni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciccio Vasco went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Camillo Lepori kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Masio's Alberigo Martinelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvise Chitarroni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberigo Martinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alvise Chitarroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Concetto Di Martino came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Fregene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Di Martino couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Masio's Augusto Punta got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Masio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
