Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fulvio Valcareggi made the kick off which started today's match. Fulvio Valcareggi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Enrico Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Secondigliano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Pantalone to maneuver through the defense. Cosimo Gualtieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute Biagio Pensa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Filice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucchese's Fortunato Filice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Pensa in the 17th minute of play. Fortunato Filice showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Manna in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Armando Pantalone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Secondigliano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lucchese the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Armando Pantalone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Biagio Pensa struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Fortunato Filice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Secondigliano. 30 minutes into the game, Demetrio Bravo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lucchese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Secondigliano the free kick. After 30 played minutes Lucchese got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Bravo. When Alvaro Manna came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Secondigliano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Manna couldn't finish the play. Biagio Pensa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Filice having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Biagio Pensa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Manna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Fortunato Filice when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Lucchese getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fortunato De Filippo hit a great ball. Beppe Baresi's late challenge caught a Secondigliano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beppe Baresi helped the player get up and apologised. Fortunato Filice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Pensa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Biagio Pensa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fortunato Filice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Francesco Palmieri in the 68th minute really tested Fortunato Filice's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Beppe Baresi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. The supporters of Secondigliano booed when Lucchese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Baresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Filice was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Francesco Palmieri. After having played for 76 minutes, Armando Pantalone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Secondigliano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Pantalone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ciccio Valletta fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Secondigliano's protests and gave Ciccio Valletta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Secondigliano getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ciccio Valletta hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Lucchese's Demetrio Bravo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cosimo Gualtieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fortunato Filice showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Pensa in the 89th minute of the match. If Cosimo Gualtieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lucchese supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Secondigliano's performance. The match ended with a win for Secondigliano.
