Fulvio Valcareggi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Castrucci having to interfere. Fortunato Filice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Flammini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Cosimo Gualtieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Castrucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulvio Valcareggi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, Enrico Flammini made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Filice. Lucchese's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 26 minutes of play, Mantelle's Enrico Flammini made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Filice was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Flammini in the 29th minute of play forced Lucchese's goalkeeper Fortunato Filice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Enrico Flammini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes, Fabiano Di Cesare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mantelle and the Lucchese players grew even worse after the yellow card. Concetto Castrucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Valcareggi in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulvio Valcareggi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Flammini in the 55th minute of play forced Lucchese's goalkeeper Fortunato Filice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Augusto Del Pizzo sped through Lucchese's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fortunato Filice. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Del Pizzo in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Filice prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Del Pizzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fortunato Filice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mantelle's Fabiano Di Cesare got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Fabiano Di Cesare off the ground. After a rather tough play, Mantelle's Fabiano Di Cesare got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With his leg Concetto Castrucci managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Lucchese's Cosimo Gualtieri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Teodori during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Mantelle got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Teodori. There was no doubt that Mantelle were the better team. Mantelle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
