Ernesto Formica struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Daniele De Amicis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cervia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Formica in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniele De Amicis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Daniele De Amicis managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Cervia's Anselmo Bearzot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 19 minutes into the match, Cervia's Anselmo Bearzot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniele De Amicis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Solbiate Olona's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Formica came free, but Daniele De Amicis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Formica to make the kick off.
