Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ernesto Formica got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Cervia's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Meazza came free, but Elia Pallini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessio Di Filippo had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Fausto Caiola's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Elia Pallini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Di Rocco went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ernesto Formica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alessio Di Filippo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Formica in the 20th minute of play forced LITTLE STAR's goalkeeper Alessio Di Filippo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Francesco Di Rocco came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the LITTLE STAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Di Rocco couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Elia Pallini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th match minute, Cervia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Luongo to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Beppe Luongo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cervia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LITTLE STAR the free kick. Beppe Luongo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Francesco Di Rocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to LITTLE STAR getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Armando Della Rocca hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Cervia's Fausto Caiola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 36th match minute, Cervia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Sacchetti to maneuver through the defense. Francesco Di Rocco struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Elia Pallini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LITTLE STAR. Ernesto Formica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alessio Di Filippo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Meazza was the one to do the kick off. Alessio Di Filippo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Anselmo Bearzot sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the game, Aldo Corrente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cervia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LITTLE STAR the free kick. A collision led to Cervia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aldo Corrente hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Formica in the 64th minute of play forced LITTLE STAR's goalkeeper Alessio Di Filippo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Meazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Pallini having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Cervia's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Di Rocco came free, but Elia Pallini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elia Pallini came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by LITTLE STAR's Angelo Meazza. But to his dismay, Angelo Meazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ernesto Formica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessio Di Filippo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind LITTLE STAR's goalkeeper Alessio Di Filippo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anselmo Bearzot's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Alessio Di Filippo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Francesco Di Rocco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Pallini having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Cervia's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Meazza came free, but Elia Pallini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Francesco Di Rocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Bearzot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alessio Di Filippo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Di Rocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LITTLE STAR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
