Vinco AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 13th minute Anthony Taraborrelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Ferrario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cermes FC booed when Vinco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Olivieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Fortunato Giammarino put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Antonello Ferrario. Aldo Navarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Vinco AFC's Aldo Navarra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Cermes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Navarra came free, but Armando Maranzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Maranzano made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Aldo Navarra sent off a good shot on target. When Anthony Taraborrelli came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cermes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Taraborrelli couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Navarra to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Vinco AFC. Federico Maiorano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Maranzano. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Filippo Caruso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Caruso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Maranzano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cermes FC's zone, Aldo Navarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Maranzano came out of the goal and Aldo Navarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortunato Giammarino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Ferrario having to interfere. Antonello Ferrario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthony Taraborrelli in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Caruso in the 78th minute of play forced Cermes FC's goalkeeper Armando Maranzano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippo Caruso in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Maranzano saved Cermes FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Anthony Taraborrelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Cermes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Navarra came free, but Armando Maranzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinco AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
