With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciccio Garofalo in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corrado Barducci saved Formigine from getting behind. Corrado Barducci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Garofalo in the 11th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, MEAN MACHINE's Donato Mori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corrado Barducci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Corrado Barducci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Mori in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Eugenio Napoleoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Formigine and the MEAN MACHINE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugenio Napoleoni kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Donato Mori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corrado Barducci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Garofalo in the 25th minute of the match. If Ciccio Garofalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Desiderio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damiano Burelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Formigine's zone, Donato Mori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Barducci came out of the goal and Donato Mori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Donato Mori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formigine's Corrado Barducci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciccio Garofalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Formigine's Corrado Barducci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Garofalo in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermanno Del Gatto to make the kick off. Armando Olivieri hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Donato Mori got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Formigine's Corrado Desiderio in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MEAN MACHINE's goalie prevented a goal. Ciccio Garofalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Barducci having to interfere. In the 67th minute, MEAN MACHINE's Donato Mori ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corrado Barducci. Corrado Barducci yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Ciccio Garofalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Corrado Barducci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Napoleoni was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd match minute, Formigine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Napoleoni to maneuver through the defense. MEAN MACHINE were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Formigine's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felice Pan took the corner. MEAN MACHINE's Felice Pan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Corrado Barducci in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Felice Pan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ciccio Garofalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Formigine's Corrado Barducci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Formigine from getting a goal against them. After having played for 92 minutes, Ciccio Garofalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MEAN MACHINE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Garofalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Mori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Ciccio Garofalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciccio Garofalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Formigine fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MEAN MACHINE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
