The goalkeeper, Francesco Pio, was totally fooled by Accirt Milan's Aldo Addario, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Beppe Petrosino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beppe Petrosino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Francesco Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Chirignago's goalkeeper Francesco Pio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Alfieri. Beppe Petrosino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Beppe Petrosino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chirignago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Accirt Milan the free kick. In the 30th minute, Ennio Soccio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes of play, Chirignago's Angelo Mazzini made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Colella was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelio Iacovone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Francesco Pio made a huge save. Camillo Battista kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Chirignago's Alex Campana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Accirt Milan. Beppe Petrosino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Francesco Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Augusto Alfieri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Beppe Petrosino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Accirt Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Beppe Petrosino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Pio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Alfieri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Francesco Pio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano Angelucci was the one to do the kick off. Florian Matteucci's late challenge caught a Chirignago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Matteucci helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Chirignago's zone, Beppe Petrosino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Pio came out of the goal and Beppe Petrosino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Accirt Milan's Beppe Petrosino in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chirignago's goalie prevented a goal. Beppe Petrosino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Pio having to interfere. Chirignago's Francesco Pio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Petrosino in the 62nd minute of play. Augusto Alfieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Pio having to interfere. When Augusto Alfieri came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Accirt Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Alfieri couldn't finish the play. After 77 played minutes Chirignago got a freekick which was hit by Alex Coscarella. Beppe Petrosino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Pio having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Beppe Petrosino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Accirt Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Petrosino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Colella was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Alex Coscarella capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Coscarella really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Francesco Pio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Alfieri in the 89th minute of play. Francesco Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Alfieri in the 90th minute of the match. Francesco Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Alfieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Alfieri in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Pio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Accirt Milan's Augusto Alfieri got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Chirignago were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Accirt Milan side.
