The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Lattanzio got free with Fedele Pascucci in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Daniele Tofani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Morandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, San Pelaio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Placidi to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Alex Lattanzio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Enrico De Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Pascucci having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Claudio Colantonio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Pelaio AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trono di spiaze the free kick. Alex Lattanzio charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Lattanzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Pelaio AFC booed when Trono di spiaze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Lattanzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Fedele Pascucci managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Trono di spiaze's Alex Lattanzio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alex Lattanzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fedele Pascucci made a huge save. Alex Lattanzios short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Fedele Pascucci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Fedele Pascucci managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Trono di spiaze's Alex Lattanzio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes into the game, one of San Pelaio AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Alex Lattanzio came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Trono di spiaze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Lattanzio couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fedele Pascucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Lattanzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Alfredo Mazzetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Colantonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. But to his dismay, Enrico De Vito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Alex Lattanzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Claudio Placidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Alex Lattanzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrico De Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Pascucci having to interfere. If Alex Lattanzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trono di spiaze's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
