Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alvise Malandra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alfredo Di Palma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Corvo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute of the match Diego Silvi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Di Palma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mensana f.c's Dennis Alfonsi got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian De Bonis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Di Palma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniele Corvo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Di Palma was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Christian De Bonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alfredo Di Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mensana f.c's Antonello Nola got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Daniele Corvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Di Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Corvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Christian De Bonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniele Corvo was the one to do the kick off. Armando Pilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Malandra, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Daniele Corvo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Di Palma having to make a save. Christian De Bonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Di Palma having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Alfonsi in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Pilla saved Viconovo from getting behind. Alfredo Di Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Corvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Alvise Malandra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Pilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Alfonsi in the 70th minute of the match. Antonello Nola struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Armando Pilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mensana f.c. Daniele Corvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Di Palma having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amerigo Bocchi during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mensana f.c fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! When Daniele Corvo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Viconovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Corvo couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Diego Del Gatto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Dennis Alfonsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Pilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniele Corvo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniele Corvo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Di Palma saved Mensana f.c from getting behind. If Daniele Corvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mensana f.c's goalkeeper Alfredo Di Palma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Christian De Bonis came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Viconovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian De Bonis couldn't finish the play. Viconovo played a much better game than Mensana f.c and deserved their victory. The Mensana f.c players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
