Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Desiderio's goalkeeper Armando Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arrigo Briganti hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Carter Nazzaro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Raffa. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 16th minute, Ennio Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Raffa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Nazzaro in the 18th minute of play. If Claudio Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franco Amatori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Massa having to interfere. If Claudio Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Amatori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th match minute, San Desiderio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Furia to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Arturo Scarinci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Massa skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th minute, Franco Amatori made a precise shot to the right of Armando Massa. San Desiderio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Franco Amatori came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Gameragna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Amatori couldn't finish the play. If Franco Amatori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carter Nazzaro to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Carciofo in the 54th minute of play forced San Desiderio's goalkeeper Armando Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, San Desiderio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Coccia to maneuver through the defense. If Claudio Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Gameragna FC's Emiliano Carciofo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alessio Ascoli charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessio Ascoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gameragna FC booed when San Desiderio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Ascoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Gameragna FC were awarded a corner. Arturo Scarinci went to the cornerflag to take it. San Desiderio's Armando Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save San Desiderio from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Raffa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Mazza's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Arrigo Briganti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gameragna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Desiderio the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Gameragna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Briganti to maneuver through the defense. San Desiderio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
