After 30 minutes, Alberigo Mariotti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muratello AFC and the Fratta Terme players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Muratello AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alberigo Mariotti hit a great ball. Aurelio Buccella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Nero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Buccella in the 34th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Fratta Terme's Elia Papa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cosimo Di Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosimo Di Vito to make the kick off. Fratta Terme's Frank Polito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Di Vito in the 55th minute of play. Cosimo Di Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 59 in the game by Cosimo Di Vito from a close distance when the talented Frank Polito managed to make a qualified save. Fratta Terme's players were relieved. After having played for 63 minutes, Cosimo Di Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Cosimo Di Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muratello AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosimo Di Vito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Fratta Terme defense, Davide Riccardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Polito. The Fratta Terme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Polito should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Arturo Prato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Riccardi struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Frank Polito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muratello AFC. In the 83rd minute Cosimo Di Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Polito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Fratta Terme's goalkeeper Frank Polito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davide Riccardi. When the match was over Muratello AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fratta Terme throughout the match.
