In the 12th minute Bianco Del Duca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Maldini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Vinci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus. 38 minutes into the game, Milano Lambronx's Bianco Del Duca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinando Maldini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Alex De Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milano Lambronx's Alessio Vinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Chitarroni in the 45th minute of play. Ferdinando Maldini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Vulcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elia Chitarroni was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Juventus's Cesare Ciaccia got a free kick in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the match, Alessio Caroselli notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Juventus's Ferdinando Maldini. In the 84th minute, Christian Di Iorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cesare Cicchinelli came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Juventus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Cicchinelli couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Milano Lambronx getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Attilio Berardini hit a great ball. Alex De Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alessio Vinci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex De Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Vinci having to interfere. If Elia Chitarroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
