The audience was convinced that Diego Amadei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Pietrantoni was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Anthony Salvagnin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Martorella. Lucino AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Salvagnin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Meianiga's Domenico Coco got a free kick in the 15th minute. Domenico Tacconelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Diego Pietrantoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Salvagnin during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Anthony Salvagnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Domenico Tacconelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lucino AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domenico Tacconelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domenico Tacconelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Pietrantoni having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Salvagnin in the 66th minute of play forced Lucino AFC's goalkeeper Dino Martorella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Anthony Salvagnin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Porreca in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Pietrantoni saved Meianiga from getting behind. Diego Amadei charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Amadei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Lucino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Amadei to maneuver through the defense. Lucino AFC's Aldo Porreca got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Meianiga got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Strazzabosco. Diego Pietrantoni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Domenico Tacconelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 91 minute of play. Ernesto Simonetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dino Martorella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
