The supporters of Villalta FC booed when Montenero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Colombi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villalta FC's Dario Scandella got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demetrio Ciraci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Di Renzo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Piano during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Villalta FC's Alexsandro Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Villalta FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Elia Di Renzo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demetrio Ciraci was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elia Di Renzo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrio Ciraci saved Montenero FC from getting behind. When Alex Lauri fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montenero FC's protests and gave Alex Lauri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Carter Cameli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demetrio Ciraci was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Emilio Piano hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Cavallo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Ciraci was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Elia Di Renzo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elia Di Renzo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Alexsandro Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Lauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 62 minutes on the clock, Aldo Parco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 61st minute, one of Villalta FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villalta FC. Alexsandro Moura went to the wrong direction when Anselmo Porro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Carmine Piscopo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Cavallo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Carter Cameli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes, Montenero FC's Anselmo Porro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexsandro Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montenero FC reached it. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Elia Di Renzo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Villalta FC made a substitution. Arturo Cipollone replaced Carmine Piscopo. Dario Scandella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Demetrio Ciraci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Ciraci made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Elia Di Renzo sent off a good shot on target. If Elia Di Renzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elia Di Renzo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Demetrio Ciraci when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elia Di Renzo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Demetrio Ciraci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villalta FC. If Elia Di Renzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Villalta FC's Emilio Piano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demetrio Ciraci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.
