Elia Di Renzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Elia Di Renzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elia Antognoni. The goal made the score 1-0. After 12 played minutes Formigine FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Pallotta. When Alfonso Melucci fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formigine FC's protests and gave Alfonso Melucci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Formigine FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Melucci to maneuver through the defense. Formigine FC's Elia Antognoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Di Renzo in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmine Piscopo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elia Antognoni. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Emilio Piano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Elia Antognoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Formigine FC's Dario Zappacosta got a free kick in the 20th minute. Elia Di Renzo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Elia Antognoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villalta FC. Elia Di Renzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Antognoni having to interfere. Elia Antognoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Piscopo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Formigine FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Presutti to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 32 in the game by Elia Di Renzo from a close distance when the talented Elia Antognoni managed to make a qualified save. Formigine FC's players were relieved. Alexsandro Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Montagna, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Alvise Vespucci fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formigine FC's protests and gave Alvise Vespucci a yellow card for diving instead. Alvise Vespucci kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Villalta FC's Elia Di Renzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elia Antognoni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Formigine FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alvise Vespucci hit a great ball. Villalta FC's Alexsandro Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Montagna in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Di Renzo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elia Antognoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmine Piscopo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elia Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Di Renzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Carmine Piscopo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Formigine FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Cameli came free, but Elia Antognoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Villalta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Zisser to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Alvaro Cellucci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexsandro Moura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Villalta FC's Elia Di Renzo in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Formigine FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Cameli in the 89th minute of play forced Formigine FC's goalkeeper Elia Antognoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexsandro Moura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfonso Melucci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 90 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Villalta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Montagna came free, but Alexsandro Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Cameli in the 98th minute of play forced Formigine FC's goalkeeper Elia Antognoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
