Lecce 1908 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fabio Rava hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferruccio Moretta in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ercole Zollino saved Venaria Reale FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the U. S. Lecce 1908 defense, Enzo Polimeno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 秦朗烨. The U. S. Lecce 1908 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 秦朗烨 should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
