The long shot by Ermanno Giampieri in the 20th minute really tested Augusto Giancola's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Florian Giammaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Giancola having to interfere. Augusto Giancola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Giammaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Florian Giammaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Giancola prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
