In the 9th minute Florian Giammaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Pittelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Giammaria in the 13th minute of play forced Limito's goalkeeper Bruno Pittelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonello Cardella kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Fulvio Di Filippo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Pittelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Giammaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Limito's Bruno Pittelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Fontana in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, C.S.K.A. Zingari's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Cardella came free, but Attilio Panza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Limito's Bruno Pittelli got control of the ball when Dario Iannucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Concetto Marzulli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Attilio Panza skillfully saved the ball. In the 47th minute, Ernesto Picciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Giammaria made a kick off. When Ernesto Picciano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. After 54 played minutes C.S.K.A. Zingari got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Picciano. Fulvio Di Filippo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Attilio Panza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limito. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulvio Di Filippo got free with Attilio Panza in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
