Edoardo Di Marco struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Fulvio Di Bernardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freghi Tori. Fulvio Di Bernardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Rosati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Battista was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enrico Crognale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Freghi Tori's goalkeeper Alvaro Battista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ercole Magliocco. If Enrico Crognale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pergola's Fulvio Di Bernardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Di Marco in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Edoardo Di Marco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freghi Tori fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 44th minute, Edoardo Di Marco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Freghi Tori's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ercole Magliocco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When %teams%'s Enrico Crognale was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-1 just inside the left pole, 47 minutes into the game. Alvaro Battista was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrico Crognale was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Alfonso Antognoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Proietto, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Freghi Tori defense, Ercole Magliocco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Battista. The Freghi Tori fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Battista should have stopped the shot. Enrico Crognale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. In the 74th minute Fabiano Berardinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Di Bernardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Freghi Tori's Fabiano Berardinelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulvio Di Bernardo. That made the score 4-3 after 77 minutes of play. Enrico Crognale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Battista having to interfere. Alvaro Battista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Crognale in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Enrico Crognale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Battista. Freghi Tori's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrico Crognale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. 94 minutes into the game, Enrico Crognale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Alvaro Battista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pergola had played much better football throughout.
