Aurelio Tonon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Francesco Paolini. In the 31st match minute, Turate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Gigli to maneuver through the defense. Cesare Antonangeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Giacchetti having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio La Marca in the 35th minute of play forced Turate's goalkeeper Aurelio Tonon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fabio La Marca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Alessandro Pennetta came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Livergnano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Pennetta couldn't finish the play. Fabio La Marca was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Alessandro Pennetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio La Marca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Giacchetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Gigli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesare Antonangeli was the one to do the kick off. Fabio La Marca kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvise Piccoli during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
