Aquino FC's Ettore Piccirilli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Mazzocchetti in the 10th minute of play. Adriano Zoccolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Aureli in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to CSKA VARESE getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fortunato Marulli hit a great ball. Alexander Troiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Edoardo Aureli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Zoccolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cristoforo Mazzocchetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA VARESE's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristoforo Mazzocchetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ettore Piccirilli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd match minute, CSKA VARESE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Marulli to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Zoccolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Aureli in the 46th minute of the match.

Aquino FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. CSKA VARESE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
