In the 14th match minute, Novegro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Di Croce to maneuver through the defense. Achille Serra hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Alfredo Capasso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yeray Charlin, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Soccavo's zone, Aurelio Minichiello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yeray Charlin came out of the goal and Aurelio Minichiello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Minichiello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yeray Charlin having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carter Di Martino to make the kick off. Carter Di Martinos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Elia Furia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Arrigo Colombi fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Novegro AFC's protests and gave Arrigo Colombi a yellow card for diving instead. Arrigo Colombi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, one of Novegro AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Novegro AFC. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Soccavo's Arrigo Di Marino got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Elia Furia. In the 67th minute, Carter Larizza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carter Di Martino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Elia Furia made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carter Di Martino in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elia Furia saved Novegro AFC from getting behind. Yeray Charlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Di Croce in the 76th minute of play. Arrigo Di Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Yeray Charlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Minichiello in the 89th minute of play.
