Beppe Balboni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Petruzzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Balboni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Ferrante took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corrado Manzoli. Corrado Manzoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to The Dark Passenger getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alfonso Di Pietro hit a great ball. After 16 minutes of play, Visciano Bella Vita's Alfredo Petruzzi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beppe Balboni was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Visciano Bella Vita's Alfredo Petruzzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beppe Balboni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beppe Balboni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Petruzzi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Alfredo Petruzzi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Visciano Bella Vita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Petruzzi couldn't finish the play. Corrado Manzoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corrado Ferrante in the 32nd minute. Beppe Balboni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Giancola, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, The Dark Passenger's Daniele Mazzei got a free kick in the 35th minute. The Dark Passenger's Beppe Balboni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Petruzzi in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Visciano Bella Vita booed when The Dark Passenger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Mazzei didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Alfredo Petruzzi notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of The Dark Passenger's Beppe Balboni. Beppe Balboni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredo Petruzzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beppe Balboni having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Petruzzi to make the kick off. Alfredo Petruzzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Petruzzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Beppe Balboni made a huge save. A collision led to The Dark Passenger getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Concetto Improta hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Alfredo Petruzzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Visciano Bella Vita's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Petruzzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Balboni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Bertini in the 64th minute of play forced The Dark Passenger's goalkeeper Beppe Balboni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dark Passenger's Beppe Balboni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Giancola in the 65th minute of play. Bruno Bertini lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Visciano Bella Vita:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Dark Passenger:s goal. Corrado Manzoli had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Domenico Bucciarelli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 72nd minute, Domenico Bucciarelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corrado Manzoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After 76 minutes, Alfredo Petruzzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Visciano Bella Vita and the The Dark Passenger players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Visciano Bella Vita's Fabio Conti got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Petruzzi in the 81st minute of play forced The Dark Passenger's goalkeeper Beppe Balboni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfredo Petruzzi came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Visciano Bella Vita fans jumped to their feet. In the 89th minute, Ennio Scibilia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Visciano Bella Vita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Visciano Bella Vita's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
