Sessarego FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cannuzzo the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Pasinati in the 20th minute of play forced Sessarego FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Staniscia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Moretti's late challenge caught a Sessarego FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Moscatelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 37 played minutes Cannuzzo got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Bonsignore. After 40 played minutes Sessarego FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Roberto. In the 41st minute, Anfilogino Bonsignore sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sessarego FC's Alvaro Staniscia didn't even have to move. Ermanno Di Pietrantonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Pasinati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciccio Mazzetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ermanno Di Pietrantonio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cannuzzo's goalkeeper Claudio Moscatelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Cannuzzo booed when Sessarego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Mazzetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sessarego FC defense, Attilio Pasinati kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Staniscia. The Sessarego FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Staniscia should have stopped the shot. Cannuzzo's Attilio Pasinati got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Staniscia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Di Pietrantonio in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Dino Borrelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cannuzzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sessarego FC the free kick.
