Bianco Chiarelli in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Piazza Al Serchio's Domenico Ceci was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristiano Magno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Christian Mansueto hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Bianco Chiarelli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Cristiano Magno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mezzanego's Cristiano Magno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Ceci in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Bianco Chiarelli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristiano Magno, 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Mezzanego's Andrea Guaita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Marinucci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Mezzanego booed when A.C. Piazza Al Serchio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Ceci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Magno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Chiarelli in the 34th minute of the match. A.C. Piazza Al Serchio's Ettore Savoia got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. German Senen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Magno having to interfere. Andrea Guaita hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Enzo Borel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
A.C. Piazza Al Serchio's Ettore Savoia got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domenico Ceci struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Cristiano Magno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Piazza Al Serchio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Chiarelli in the 58th minute of play forced Mezzanego's goalkeeper Cristiano Magno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Emilio Nicolini put in a rough tackle. 58 minutes into the game, one of A.C. Piazza Al Serchio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A.C. Piazza Al Serchio:s Bruno Marinucci showed great skill when he stopped Cosimo Di Bernardo:s penalty. In the 61st minute, Cosimo Di Bernardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mezzanego fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ettore Savoia managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C. Piazza Al Serchio's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Savoia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Magno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If German Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ettore Savoia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cristiano Magno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Magno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Senen, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, A.C. Piazza Al Serchio's Ettore Savoia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Magno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Mezzanego's goal looked a bit too open when German Senen came free, but Cristiano Magno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mezzanego's zone, Domenico Ceci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Magno came out of the goal and Domenico Ceci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Borel kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Ettore Savoia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Magno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-3 became the score in the 98th minute when Ennio Doris elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Although A.C. Piazza Al Serchio had been in control for most of the match, Mezzanego still came away with the win.
