The referee ignored Le Luci Della Centrale's protests and gave Bernardo Cucci a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fizzonasco AFC booed when Le Luci Della Centrale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Cucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fizzonasco AFC's Anselmo Catini couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Le Luci Della Centrale. Felice Del Nero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Caccavale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felice Del Nero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Cerrone's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Federico Cerrone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fizzonasco AFC's Felice Del Nero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Perna made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Felice Bonelli sent off a good shot on target. Alex Camerlengo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Le Luci Della Centrale's goalkeeper Ciro Perna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felice Bonelli. Felice Del Nero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Caccavale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Eugenio Palleschi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fizzonasco AFC's Felice Del Nero didn't even have to move. If Andrea Marchegiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Marchegiani received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciro Perna came out and tried to block the shot, but Andrea Marchegiani slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Caccavale was the one to do the kick off. Felice Del Nero made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Federico Cerrone sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Caccavale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Felice Del Nero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fizzonasco AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ciro Perna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Marchegiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrea Marchegiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fizzonasco AFC's Anselmo Catini got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Federico Cerrone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Le Luci Della Centrale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Cerrone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fizzonasco AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Le Luci Della Centrale had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
