An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Mastrocola in the 2nd minute of play forced Cruser's goalkeeper Alvaro Sciascia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Bosco in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Sciascia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvaro Sciascia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Mastrocola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Di Berardino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ciccio Pani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Piccarello FC's Eugenio Bosco got a free kick in the 13th minute. Emilio Di Berardino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Pani having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Eugenio Mastrocola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piccarello FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Mastrocola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Sciascia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Bondi during the 20th minute. Edmondo Pinti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciccio Pani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Eugenio Mastrocola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cesare Cirulli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Sciascia was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Piccarello FC's zone, Edmondo Pinti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciccio Pani came out of the goal and Edmondo Pinti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Mastrocola to make the kick off. Alvaro Sciascia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Bosco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmondo Pinti in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciccio Pani saved Piccarello FC from getting behind. Damiano Di Clemente's late challenge caught a Cruser's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damiano Di Clemente helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Piccarello FC's Damiano Di Clemente got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ciccio Pani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Di Berardino in the 62nd minute of play. Emilio Di Berardino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Edmondo Pinti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cruser's Alvaro Sciascia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Mastrocola in the 76th minute of play.
