In the 2nd minute, Alfonso Pellicciotta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Del Nero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Giuliani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Perugia f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Bevilacqua. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Andrano's zone, Alfonso Pellicciotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Scandella came out of the goal and Alfonso Pellicciotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Perugia f.c.'s Alfonso Pellicciotta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Scandella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. F.C. Andrano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Enrico Caruso scored to the left of an out of position Frank Scandella, making the score, 1-0. In the 38th minute Alfonso Pellicciotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Scandella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, F.C. Andrano's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Pellicciotta came free, but Frank Scandella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alfonso Pellicciotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perugia f.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Pellicciotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Scandella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Pellicciotta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alfonso Pellicciotta sped through F.C. Andrano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Scandella. 60 minutes into the match, F.C. After 78 played minutes Perugia f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Massa. Fabrizio Giuliani's late challenge caught a Perugia f.c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrizio Giuliani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Alfonso Pellicciotta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Pellicciotta in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Scandella saved F.C. Andrano from getting behind. Alfonso Pellicciotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Scandella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Frank Scandella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Pellicciotta in the 95th minute of play. When Alfonso Pellicciotta came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Perugia f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Pellicciotta couldn't finish the play. Frank Scandella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Pellicciotta went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
