Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmondo Luciano kicked off to start the match. Edmondo Luciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Cosimo Di Ruscio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abakos United's Cosimo Di Ruscio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Rosi in the 5th minute of play. Cosimo Di Ruscio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Luciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniele Cicchini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Demetrio Cattaneo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Cattaneo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Abakos United's Daniele Cicchini. But to his dismay, Daniele Cicchini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mortizza's Corrado Del Duca got a free kick in the 24th minute. Daniele Cicchini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Daniele Cicchini came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Abakos United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Cicchini couldn't finish the play. Demetrio Cattaneo had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Daniele Cicchini from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Demetrio Cattaneo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Cicchini, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ettore Lancia hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Abakos United's goalkeeper Cosimo Di Ruscio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fortunato Rosi. If Fortunato Rosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosimo Di Ruscio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fortunato Rosi in the 62nd minute. If Daniele Cicchini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amerigo Scafati hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Cosimo Di Ruscio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Luciano in the 74th minute of play. Daniele Cicchini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniele Cicchini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Demetrio Cattaneo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Rosi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Cosimo Di Ruscio made a huge save. Edmondo Luciano struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Cosimo Di Ruscio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mortizza. Fortunato Rosi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Fortunato Rosi made a precise shot to the right of Cosimo Di Ruscio. Abakos United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Fortunato Rosi scored 1-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosimo Di Ruscio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Mortizza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mortizza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
