Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Anconetta's Dennis Zaccardi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dennis Zaccardi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Rea having to make a save. After having played for 9 minutes, Carter Tacconelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montalbano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carter Tacconelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carter Rigoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Giancola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Donato Giancola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Rigoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Anconetta defense, Carter Tacconelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carter Rigoni. The Anconetta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carter Rigoni should have stopped the shot. Alberigo Piccone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Rea having to interfere. Donato Giancola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Giancola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carter Rigoni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Dennis Zaccardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Rea having to interfere.

Montalbano FC's Claudio Rea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Piccone in the 58th minute of play. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Donato Giancola sped through Anconetta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carter Rigoni. Carter Tacconelli struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Carter Rigoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montalbano FC. Donato Giancola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Rigoni having to interfere. Donato Giancola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Rea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberigo Piccone in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montalbano FC's goalkeeper Claudio Rea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Donato Giancola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montalbano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Giancola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Rigoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Zaccardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Rea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Zaccardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Amedeo Arpaia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anconetta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montalbano FC the free kick. A collision led to Anconetta getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Amedeo Arpaia hit a great ball. Montalbano FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Anconetta for a fine match.
