Minoprio AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pianodardine the free kick. The supporters of Pianodardine booed when Minoprio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Pietrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Pilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amos Pilla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Alessandro Piccoli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pianodardine! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Minoprio AFC. Alfonso Pietrini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edmondo Maestri. 0-1. If Eugenio Fioriti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Amos Pilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosimo Carbonetti during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Franco Fulgenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Fioriti was the one to do the kick off. Amos Pilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Piccoli having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Amos Pilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Piccoli was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Pianodardine's Anfilogino Novella got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Anfilogino Novella off the ground. 72 minutes into the match, Pianodardine's goalkeeper Edmondo Maestri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Achille Di Massimo. Amos Pilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Piccoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Alvise Prisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amos Pilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Franco Fulgenzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pianodardine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Minoprio AFC's zone, Amos Pilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Piccoli came out of the goal and Amos Pilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Fulgenzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Piccoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When Alvise Prisco fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pianodardine's protests and gave Alvise Prisco a yellow card for diving instead. Alvise Prisco kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Pianodardine players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
